The bonus principle resembles a sweepstakes, as there is no free choice of events for the participant. But the jackpot for each round is £50,000, or Euros. Restrictions apply to the cancellation and postponement of matches involved in the draw. One such postponement immediately reduces the potential winnings to 25%, i.e. £12,500.

There is another important point about postponing matches. Teams have 48 hours to postpone their match in order to play. Only after this period has elapsed will the jackpot of the round be reduced by a factor of four.
